Ingredients
  

Base & Protein:

  • 4 store-bought flatbreads or naan breads 8-inch each
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce divided
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Toppings:

  • 1/2 onion thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • Optional: sliced jalapeños
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons olive oil for brushing

Instructions
 

Prepare (5 mins)

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C)
  • Line baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Let flatbreads come to room temperature

Mix Chicken (5 mins)

  • In bowl, combine shredded chicken with 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • Stir until evenly coated

Assemble Flatbreads (10 mins)

  • Spread 2-3 tablespoons BBQ sauce on each flatbread
  • Distribute seasoned chicken evenly
  • Top with mozzarella cheese
  • Add sliced red onions and optional toppings
  • Brush edges with olive oil if desired

Bake (12-15 mins)

  • Place flatbreads on prepared baking sheet
  • Bake until edges are crispy and cheese is melted
  • Cheese should be bubbly and slightly golden

Finish & Serve

  • Remove from oven
  • Sprinkle with fresh cilantro
  • Let rest 2 minutes before slicing
  • Serve immediately while hot
