- 400 grams fresh pasta tagliatelle, fettuccine, or penne
- 150 grams Boursin cheese Garlic & Fine Herbs variety
- 200 ml fresh cream
Optional:
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 100 grams mushrooms, brocoli sliced
- A handful of spinach
- 100 grams cherry tomatoes halved
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente; drain and reserve a cup of pasta water.
In the same pot, reduce heat to medium and add Boursin cheese and cream. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.
Add cooked pasta back to the pot, toss with the sauce, and add optional ingredients if using. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
