Ingredients
  

  • 400 grams fresh pasta tagliatelle, fettuccine, or penne
  • 150 grams Boursin cheese Garlic & Fine Herbs variety
  • 200 ml fresh cream

Optional:

  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 100 grams mushrooms, brocoli sliced
  • A handful of spinach
  • 100 grams cherry tomatoes halved
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente; drain and reserve a cup of pasta water.
  • In the same pot, reduce heat to medium and add Boursin cheese and cream. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  • If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.
  • Add cooked pasta back to the pot, toss with the sauce, and add optional ingredients if using. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
