- 4 oz passion fruit vodka
- 2 oz pineapple juice or passion fruit juice
- 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 oz simple syrup
- 4 fresh passion fruits halved
- 2 oz sparkling wine or Prosecco optional
Prepare the Cocktail Shaker: Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
Add Ingredients: Pour in vodka, pineapple or passion fruit juice, lime juice, and simple syrup.
Scoop Passion Fruit: Slice each passion fruit in half and use a spoon to scoop out the seeds into the cocktail shaker.
Shake Vigorously: Secure the lid and shake vigorously for a slow count of 10-15 seconds to distribute the passion fruit.
Strain and Serve: Strain the mixture into two glasses and top off with about 1 oz each of Prosecco.
- Passion fruit vodka: Adds more flavor, but regular vodka works too. Add extra fresh passion fruit if needed.
- Simple syrup: Easily made by combining equal parts water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until dissolved.
- Prosecco: Adds a nice fizz but is optional. Add just before serving to maintain the sparkle.
- Make ahead: You can prepare the mix up to 2 days in advance and store it in the refrigerator. Add Prosecco right before serving.
- Garnishes: Use a slice of passion fruit, a twist of lime, or a sprig of mint for an elegant touch.
