- 16 oz box of pasta penne, bowtie, or rotini
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 bell pepper chopped
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 cups spinach
Cook the Pasta: Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Sausage: Slice smoked sausage into thin rounds. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat and add sausage. Cook until browned.
Sauté the Vegetables: Add chopped bell pepper and onion to the skillet. Sauté until tender. Add spinach and cook until wilted.
