- 1 lb ground beef or pork or a mix
- 24 jumbo pasta shells
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley or basil for garnish
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook Pasta: Boil the shells until al dente, about 9 minutes; drain and set aside.
Prepare Meat Mixture: In a skillet, cook ground meat with garlic, salt, and pepper until browned. Drain excess grease.
Mix Cheeses: In a bowl, combine ricotta, half the mozzarella, and half the Parmesan.
Combine Meat with Cheese: Add the cooked meat to the cheese mixture and mix well.
Stuff Shells: Spoon the meat and cheese mixture into each shell and place in a baking dish.
